The Representative Office conducts monitoring of the data of regional state administrations and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on a regular basis. As of the 1st of February 2017 in mainland Ukraine reside 22824 residents from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city.<\/p>\n
65,7% (14998 people) from the number of forced migrants \u2013 men and women able to work, 26,3% (6010 people) \u2013 children, 8% (1816 people) \u2013 disabled and elderly people.<\/p>\n
Most of the nationals moved to Kyiv (4665 people), Lviv (3576 people), Odessa (2043 people), Mykolaiv (1480 people), Kyiv (1217 people), Kherson (1194 people), Kharkiv (898 people), Chernihiv (866 people) regions.<\/p>\n
In January of the current year 35 people moved from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city and registered in mainland Ukraine. To Zakarpattia region came 9 internally displaced people, to Lviv \u2013 8, Kherson \u2013 6, Zaporizhia \u2013 4, Vinnytsia, Volun, Ternopyl \u2013 by 2 people, Kirovograd and Chernihiv \u2013 by 1 internally displaced person.<\/p>\n
Support and social adaptation, meeting the vital needs, promoting and retrieval of the rights of internally displaced people \u2013 these are the main issues decided locally by public authorities.<\/p>\n
Since the beginning of the annexation of the Crimean Peninsula as of the 1st of February 2017 regional state administrations received totally \u2013 76255 appeals\/ 515 appeals were submitted in January 2017. Among the concerns which were brought up by the residents there were: obtaining of social assistance, employment, getting higher education, renewal and obtaining of state standard documents.<\/p>\n
One of the main concerns of the residents of Crimea and internally displaced persons since the beginning of the occupation is obtaining migration service\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (71,2 per cent from the total number, or 54307 appeals, of which 919 in January).<\/p>\n
According to the latest information given by the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services of Ukraine in Kherson region 44591 (or 82,1 per cent from the total number across Ukraine) internally displaced people from Crimea (of them 843 \u2013 in January) applied for the obtaining administrative services.\u00a0 Most of the appeals concerning: execution, issuance and exchange of passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad (27580 appeals\/ 449 in January); photo pasting in\u00a0 into the passport of the citizen of Ukraine upon reaching the age of 25 and 45 years old (10082 appeals\/ 303 in January); execution, issuance and exchange of passport of the citizen of Ukraine (3229 appeals\/ 27 in January), issuance of the document in the form of the ID card.<\/p>\n
2037 appeals concerning migration issues were submitted to Mykolaiv (11 in January), 1824 appeals (35 in January) to Zaporizhia, 1310 \u2013 Odessa, 999 \u2013 Rivne regional offices.<\/p>\n
The second most important issue is social payments registration. In January 2017 81 people appealed for the issue of providing monthly targeted assistance for internally displaced people to cover their living expenses, including payment for utility services, for the issue of pension provision \u2013 8 residents. 17 people from Crimea applied for internally displaced people registration certificate.<\/p>\n
Much regional state administrations\u2019 attention is paid to the issues connected with education. Thus, since the beginning of the annexation of Crimea 3902 appeals\/ 16 in January had been received concerning the issues of children\u2019s enrollment to the pre-school establishment, regular school, external studies, obtaining of nationally recognized school living certificate, getting higher technical professional education.<\/p>\n
12228 people applied to regional state administrations for other issues, including obtaining accommodation, land plots for individual construction, obtaining financial and humanitarian assistance.<\/p>\n
As of from the 1st of October 2014 to 31st of December 2016 1864 people from Crimea appealed to the territorial centre of the State Employment Service of Ukraine for employment assistance. 1463 people out of them were registered as the unemployed.<\/p>\n
664 people who moved from the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimean Peninsula are employed, 198 were involved in the social and temporary works, 229 were engaged in the professional training, re-skilling and further training, 159 remain registered as unemployed and continue receiving service from State Employment Agency.
\nThe greatest flow of migrants seeking employment is registered in Kyiv (260 people), in Lviv (201 people), in Kherson (129 people), in Kyiv (118 people), Dnipropetrovsk (111 people), Mykolaiv (104 people) regions.<\/p>\n
A large number of internally displaced people from Crimea are employed in Kyiv city (93), Lviv (74), Kyiv (41), Kherson (37), Mykolaiv (35), Vinnytsia (34), Dnipropetrovsk (31), Khmelnytskyi (30) regions.<\/p>\n
