Russia must bear responsibility for all crimes committed on the occupied peninsula against the Crimean Tatars, as stated by President Petro Poroshenko following the meeting with President of the European Council Donald Tusk. \u201cWe are not going to put up with that. Russia must bear responsibility for these awful steps,\u201d the Head of the Ukrainian State noted.<\/p>\n
Petro Poroshenko emphasizes that he informed Donald Tusk on the events on the peninsula that took place today – regular searches of the Crimean Tatar activists and their detention. As well as about the death of an honorary activists of the Crimean Tatars, a veteran of the Crimean Tatar national movement, 82-year-old Vajie Kashka who died during these events.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have informed on these dreadful events in Crimea when during the search, pressure and detention of Crimean Tatars, an activist with a very important history of protection of the interests of Crimean Tatars died,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n
