On March 28 the officials of the Departments of the International Connections and Legal Analysis of the Mission took part in the Round Table \u201cThe Current State and the Prospects of Agricultural Development in the Occupied Crimea\u201d held in the National Science Center \u201cInstitute of Agrarian Economics\u201d.The organizers of the event were the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People, the National Science Center \u201cInstitute of Agrarian Economics\u201d and Crimea News Agency \u201cQHA\u201d.<\/p>\n
During the event it was discussed the temporarily occupation consequences for the economy agrarian sector of Ukraine in ARC, the issues concerning of the current state of agriculture in Crimea and priority needs and activities to be applied following the occupation agricultural development of the peninsula.<\/p>\n
Director the National Science Center \u201cInstitute of Agrarian Economics\u201d academician Yuriy Lutsenko was the moderator of the discussion; the discussion was joined by the Head and members of\u00a0 the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People.<\/p>\n
The Mission monitors the current state and the prospects of agricultural activities of the occupied Crimea by own analytical activity, in particular for processes of displacement of animals and plants into\/from Crimea, and for current epizooties and epiphytes in the occupied peninsula. Now it is stated the Russian occupying authorities\u2019 attempts to intensify the political and legal pressure over the governmental bodies of Ukraine to upgrade the water-supply by the Northern Crimean Channel.<\/p>\n
The state-aggressor and the occupying authorities in Crimea are fully responsible for any current changes of ecological, agricultural or social situation in Crimea related to cutting off the water supply by the Northern Crimean Channel. The attempts to use scientific discussion of relevant problem is considered to be unacceptable in order to re-establish the water supply. Unfortunately consequences of the occupation caused the illegal change of jurisdiction, \u201cnationalization\u201d, outright embezzlement and change of economic infrastructure the Northern Crimean Channel by the occupying authorities in Crimea should be the matters for consideration in the national and international courts.<\/p>\n
The responses to the current challenges related to the state of agriculture in the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea were included into the project of the Action Plan for Emergency Measures to Prevent Russia\u2019s Aggression from the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea, for Defense of the Interests of the State, of Citizens of Ukraine and of Legal Ukrainian Persons in Crimea for 2018-2019, which is being estimated now by the high-level Working group. The aspects of agricultural rehabilitation of the peninsula will be included into the Re-integration Strategy of Crimea, drafted by the Mission in 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":29124,"template":"","publication-type":[43],"class_list":["post-29123","press-center","type-press-center","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","publication-type-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
