During the meeting the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier who is in Ukraine within a two \u2013 days official visit\u00a0 discussed the release of Ukrainian hostages who are in jail in the occupied territory and in Russia.<\/p>\n
“Of course, we paid special attention to the release of Ukrainian hostages, hostages in the occupied territory. The process of liberation of which, after a successful operation in December last year, was suspended by the Russian Federation and militants under its control,” President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during the joint press conference with Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.<\/p>\n
