{"id":29503,"date":"2018-06-27T13:39:20","date_gmt":"2018-06-27T13:39:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ppu.gov.ua\/press-center\/constitutional-values-and-human-rights-during-the-russian-aggression\/"},"modified":"2018-06-27T13:39:20","modified_gmt":"2018-06-27T13:39:20","slug":"constitutional-values-and-human-rights-during-the-russian-aggression","status":"publish","type":"press-center","link":"https:\/\/ppu.gov.ua\/en\/press-center\/constitutional-values-and-human-rights-during-the-russian-aggression\/","title":{"rendered":"Constitutional Values and Human Rights during the Russian aggression"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In June 27, 2018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the Chief Consultant of the Department of the International Connection of the Mission Valeria Pakhomova took part in the International Scientific Seminar<\/span><!--more--><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cConstitutional values and Human Rights: challenges of XXI century\u201d held in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11524 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/ppu.gov.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/36244236_1721526497932458_1547408585682583552_n.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"255\" height=\"160\" \/>The seminar was facilitated by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Stanislav Shevchuk, the President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Olexander Petrushyn, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Filatov Oleksiy, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine Jeffrey A. Erlich, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania Dainius \u017dalimas, the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Zaza Tavadze, the Judge of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland Justyn\u00a0Piskorski, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova Tanakhe Alexandru , the Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova Zaporogan Viacheslav, the Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the Heads of the State bodies and scientists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11525 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/ppu.gov.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/img_1686.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"259\" height=\"171\" \/>The common characteristics of values and principles of the constitutional system of Ukraine, its interpretation and balance; the role of the Constitutional Court in the constitutional and legal mechanism of the Human Rights exercising; constitutional control and of the constitutional Human Rights in the temporarily occupied territories were discussed at the seminar. The role of the Constitutional Court of Georgia in the democratic values protection and fundamental rights, the experience of the Republic of Lithuania in the Human Rights protection and the constitutional identity, the role of the Constitutional Court in protecting the public against misinformation were examined.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Borys Babin in his report pointed on a key importance of the system of the Constitutional Justice for legal protection the Human Rights that are violated heavily under the Russian aggression. Borys Babin expressed confidence in the prospects of usage the institute of Constitutional Complaints for Human Rights protection, for citizens coming or replaced from Crimea, he stressed on the attempts of the Russian Federation to use cynically Human Rights rhetoric as a mean to hide the escalation of aggression against Ukraine. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":29504,"template":"","publication-type":[43],"class_list":["post-29503","press-center","type-press-center","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","publication-type-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
