On 25 September 2018 the Chief Consultant of the Department of Legal Analysis of the Mission Ruslan Seidametov participated in the Round Table \u201cTransitional Justice for Overcoming the Consequences of the Conflict and Armed Aggression\u201d, organized by the Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and Inter-Ethnic Relations of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The participants of the round table were the head of the Committee Hrygoriy Nemyrya, the First Deputy Minister of Informational Policy of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova, the People\u2019s Deputies of Ukraine Iryna Suslova and Natalia Veselova, representatives on non- governmental organizations.<\/p>\n
During the round-table discussion the international experience of the transitional justice and resolving the conflicts were considered by the example of Columbia and Ireland. On the other hand, the implementation of the transitional legislation should be preceded by the effective launching of criminal and administrative liability for the cooperation with occupying authorities also as by the implementation of the rules of the Rome Statute of International Criminal Court into the legislation of Ukraine; by the attention to be paid for improving of cooperation between the law enforcement bodies on issues concerning the temporarily occupied territories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":29841,"template":"","publication-type":[43],"class_list":["post-29840","press-center","type-press-center","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","publication-type-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
