The Decision of the National Security and Defiance Council of Ukraine \u201cOn urgent actions to protect the national interests in the South and East of Ukraine, in the Black, Azov Seas and Kerch Straight\u201d was entered into force under presidential Decree dated 12 October 2018 \u2116320\/2018.<\/p>\n
The Decision includes the conditions which can lead to critical destabilization of economic, civil and political situation, maritime blockade of the coast of Ukraine, which occurred due to the violations of the Rulles of International Agreements on cooperation in use the Sea of Azov and Kerch Straight by RF. Particularly\u00a0 on forcing on its own conditions on usage of the maritime space and limitation of the ports activity and fishery of Ukraine; illicit economic activity, provided by the Russian side on researching and excavation of the natural resources in the TOT of Ukraine as well as on the Black Sea and Sea of Azov shelves, illegal fishing in the territorial sea and exclusive maritime economic zone of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Ukraine is obligated to provide the assessment of environmental impact and make an appropriate conclusion on the pollution of the environment in the north of the temporarily occupied territory of ARC and violation of the relevant ecological rights of the citizens of Ukraine with the plant \u201cCrimean Titan\u201d to be possibly connected to this; publication of information on actions, taken to prevent the harmful impact on the health and property of the citizens as well as provision an appropriate assistance to them to recover damages in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine together with Donetsk, Zaporizhya, Mykolaiv, Odessa and Kherson regions with the participation of Security Service of Ukraine are ordered to develop the mechanisms of interaction between governmental, self-governmental authorities and fishery entities, providing fishing activity in the internal marine waters and territorial sea, continental shelf, exclusive (maritime) economic zone of Ukraine and open sea in order to reduce crisis situations, caused by the aggressive actions of RF.<\/p>\n
The Government of Ukraine must to provide, in accordance with the obligations of Ukraine as the coastal State, determined by the UN Convention of Maritime Law of 1982, the information, according to the established procedure, about the danger of navigation in the territorial sea and internal waters of Ukraine, in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov and the Kerch Straight due to the temporarily occupation of the part of the territory of Ukraine and the aggressive actions of RF.<\/p>\n
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must analyze within one month the consequences of conditions, created by RF which made difficult to provide the\u00a0 economic activity of Ukraine in the Black and Azov Seas and the Kerch Straight. On the basis of the analysis it must take actions to stabilize the social and economic activity, strengthen economic activity and promoting investments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","publication-type":[43],"class_list":["post-29961","press-center","type-press-center","status-publish","hentry","publication-type-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
