Realities\u201d<\/a> said that \u201c the Mission of the President in ARC suggests to extend a list of the authorized bodies, entitled to submit the proposals regarding sanctions to the National Security and Defense Council as well as to consider the possibility to apply sanctions against the citizens of Ukraine and national companies<!--more-->\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the President of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, National Bank of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine are currently authorized under the Law of Ukraine \u201cAbout sanctions\u201d to submit the proposals on sanctions to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Gdanov noted that the Mission proposed to empower all the Ministries and the Mission of the President of Ukraine in ARC with the right to submit such proposals as well.<\/p>\n<p>According to Gdanov, the proposed amendments to the Law \u201cAbout sanctions\u201d particularly regarding the enhancing the circle of the bodies authorized to submit the proposals for application of sanctions will improve the sanctions policy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, the proposals for sanctions to be applied in transport sphere, including aviation, navigation and automobile traffic should be submitted by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. The central executive bodies are authorized and able to check the following information and they must be responsible for its validity\u201d, said Gdanov.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have witnessed the recent events in the international waters of the Black Sea when the Russian Federation unlawfully using the weapons captured the sailors of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
