The working group on reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of the Commission on the legal reforming issues should determine the priorities of the development of the legal basis for the reintegration of the parts of Lugansk, Donetsk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, noted Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka.<\/p>\n
\u201cTemporarily occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea are not just the lands needed to be returned. There is people, who residing there and with whom we should organize our life together after the five-year gap. 1,4 million of the internally displaced persons, most of them are likely decide to return to their allegedly ruined dwellings and there are a lot of problems, however, related to temporarily occupation of our land\u201d, he wrote on his internet page.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo avoid a chaos. We should settle a process of return to normality\u201d, Ruslan Ryaboshapka said.<\/p>\n
In this context, the Deputy Head of the Office of the Head of the State together with the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in AR of Crimea, the head of the working group on reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of the Commission on Legal Reforming issues Anton Korynevuch and the Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Gundus Mamedov discussed the priorities for the group in the development of the legal basis for returning of the parts of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Lugansk regions, Crimea and Sevastopol City under the control of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe need to develop the Strategy of reintegration of the occupied territories and the Action Plan which would have to be rewired regularly was among the main ideas\u201d, Ruslan Ryaboshapka said.<\/p>\n
According to him, a Conception on transitional justice will be prepared and the rules and principles of international humanitarian and criminal law will be implemented in order to restore peace and normality in the occupied territories, eliminate the violation of rights of our citizens, bring to justice for the committed crimes and compensate for the loss.<\/p>\n
\u201cMoreover, one of the priorities, at last, is to ratify the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court, signed almost 20 years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Working Group, comprised, mostly of the representatives of the civic organizations will take into account the international practice.
