On March 11, 2021, the National Security and Defense Council adopted the Crimean Strategy – a cornerstone document that determines key priorities and principles of state policy in the context of de-occupation and reintegration of the Russia-occupied peninsula. It\u2019s a long-awaited document that was developed by a number of government agencies, particularly the National Security and Defense Council, the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, with the involvement of the non-governmental sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

The document\u2019s adoption received all kinds of responses from the public, both positive and critical.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, as is often the case with such documents, after the Strategy\u2019s adoption comes the issue of its implementation. Who will be implementing it, when is it going to happen and what\u2019s the action plan for this? What will be the non-governmental sector\u2019s role in this process?<\/span><\/p>\n
