Currently, the standard analogue Ukrainian television remains as the only publicly available format of television broadcasting for residents of these territories and this format should be maintained until the territorial integrity of Ukraine is restored. Due to the encoding of the satellite TV signal, most Ukrainian TV and radio channels which are in satellite format became inaccessible to residents of the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The key proposals of the Mission to the recommendations based on the results of the hearings:<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">development of a transparent mechanism of state support for TV and radio companies and other media outlets that have moved from the TOT to the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">support for Ukrainian television and radio companies that broadcast in the languages of indigenous peoples, in particular in the Crimean Tatar language;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">taking into account the need to ensure stable Ukrainian broadcasting on TOT during the development of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy of De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">amendments to the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021 in order to increase funding for broadcasters who speak in TOT\u201d, &#8211; Anton Korynevych commented.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"featured_media":31715,"template":"","publication-type":[43],"class_list":["post-31714","press-center","type-press-center","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","publication-type-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
