However, this became known only four months later.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the day of his detention, the so-called \u201cKyiv District Court of Simferopol\u201d arrested Yatskin, after which he was illegally transferred to the territory of the Russian Federation and held in Moscow&#8217;s Lefortovo Pretrial Detention Center<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ivan Yatskin sentenced to 11 years on \u2018state treason\u2019 charges for opposing Russia\u2019s occupation of Crimea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea condemns the actions of the occupying authorities on illegally persecution citizens disloyal to the occupying administrations of the Russian Federation.
