His speech was about the national model of the Concept of Transitional Justice and challenges that arise because of internal displacement. Vladyslav Miroshnychenko from the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, also spoke about the Mission&#8217;s initiatives in the field of ensuring the implementation of IDPs rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine \u201cOn priority areas of activity of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea\u201d ensuring the rights of internally displaced persons from the TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol is one of the main tasks of the Mission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the active participation of the Mission, a number of measures have been implemented. For example, of the initiative of the President of Ukraine in cooperation with the Mission, Ministry of Infrastructure\u00a0 of Ukraine, Kherson Regional State Administration, other public and business authorities, created conditions for comfortable crossing of the checkpoints \u201cChongar\u201d and \u201cKalanchak\u201d (updated regime zones of entry and exit, opened centers for administrative services).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, in the Strategy for Deoccupation and Reintegration <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the Temporarily Occupied Crimea and the city of Sevastopol it is stated that \u201cthe preconditions for the reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory is, in particular, the solution of the problems of internally displaced persons. Ukraine guarantees of ensuring the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of IDPs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Special thanks to the hosts of the event, participants from Ukraine and Georgia for an important expert discussion on overcoming challenges in the field of internal displacement, as well as successful and unsuccessful practices of ensuring the implementation of IDP rights in the framework of transitional justice processes in Georgia and Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":32065,"template":"","publication-type":[43],"class_list":["post-32064","press-center","type-press-center","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","publication-type-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
