The\u00a0journal\u00a0\u201cUkrainska\u00a0Pravda\u201d\u00a0published\u00a0a\u00a0column by\u00a0the Permanent Representative\u00a0\u201c5 most common fears of Crimeans about deoccupation: debunking Russian myths\u201d, in which Ms. Tasheva responded to several key\u00a0\u201ctheses\u201d\u00a0that Russia is using to scare Ukrainian citizens away from their own country.<\/p>\n

\u201cEach of these fears, which Russia is actively fueling with its propaganda, aims to tear our citizens away from their country not only physically but also cognitively. This is the process of turning Ukraine into a conditional\u00a0\u201cenemy\u201d\u00a0that we must fear and fight with arms in hand. However, we have a constructive response to each of these fears, which needs to be communicated now because the support of the local population is also vital for the deoccupation of the peninsula\u201d.<\/p>\n
