Today, a meeting of the Expert Council at the Crimean Platform’s Representative Office took place. Ms. Tasheva exchanged information with the experts on the current activities of the Mission in various areas: elaboration of the priority steps of the state after the de-occupation of the Crimean peninsula, which were developed together with a group of experts on behalf of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The Permanent Representative focused on the preparation of a personnel reserve for the de-occupied territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A separate point of discussion was the international activity to spread the topic of the occupied Crimea in the information space of the countries of the Global South. The Permanent Representative spoke about the planned and already implemented steps in this direction, in particular about the Iftar at the official level with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as this event attracted considerable attention of Muslim countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamila Tasheva drew the attention of the members of the Expert Council to the priority steps already taken by the state after the de-occupation of Crimea, in particular, the future formation of a personnel reserve, for which the Mission has developed a course for civil servants “ProCrimea” and, together with the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, two master’s programs that will start operating in the new academic year. In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers has recently adopted a resolution on the formation of a recovery reserve, and an electronic platform is expected to be launched soon, which will allow citizens to start preparing for work in the de-occupied territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
