She has worked as a lawyer in the private, public and civil society sectors, including at CrimeaSOS as an advocacy expert and Deputy Head of the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ms. Olha joined the team of the Mission in December 2021 and headed the Legal Department of the Mission. She was actively involved in the development of legal acts concerning the temporarily occupied peninsula and its residents, namely: the law on the abolition of the so-called &#8220;free economic zone &#8220;Crimea&#8221; and on the peculiarities of economic activity in the occupied territory of Ukraine, the draft law on the status of the Crimean Tatar people, the draft law on the establishment of a simplified procedure for state registration of civil status acts that took place in the TOT and outside Ukraine, the resolution on simplifying the procedure for crossing the administrative border between Kherson and Crimea etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before joining the Mission, Olga Kuryshko contributed to the development of the Strategy for De-occupation and Reintegration of the TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, and is currently a member of the working group based at the Mission, which develops the priority steps of the state after the de-occupation of the peninsula. Ms. Kuryshko also joined the Ukrainian legal team as an expert in the public hearings on the merits in the case of Ukraine v.
