of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the Mission presented gratitude to the Ukrainian servicemen who come from Crimea, as well as to the artists who dedicated their works to the Crimean political prisoners and provided them for the auction to raise funds for the Crimean POWs from the 10th Naval Aviation Brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine Igor Bedzai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Today we would like to hold an award ceremony on behalf of the Mission on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine and honor the power and what you do on the battlefield and in civilian life, in the field of culture for the sake of our state. For the sake of our Crimean peninsula. We all understand that victory for us means the liberation of absolutely all our Ukrainian territories. And if we talk about a just peace, it is possible only after we return home, to Crimea,&#8221; said the Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva before the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The military men Mykola Harmash, Eduard Leonov, Oleksandr Poputnyi, David Cherkaskyi and Oleksandr Cherkaskyi were able to personally collect their certificates of honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the invited artists, the Representative Office was visited by artist, performance artist, media artist Alevtina Kakhidze, artist Zirka Savka, and Crimean Tatar ceramic artist Rustem Skybin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In particular, the event was joined by a military man, representative of the Crimean Ukrainian Council Serhiy Vikarchuk and associate professor of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force and the Expert Council at the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea Ali Bekirov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After presenting the certificates and letters of appreciation, Ms. Tasheva spoke to the audience. She told more about the initiatives of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to support the Crimean Tatar people. In particular, about Iftar at the official level, which once again showed the unity of the Ukrainian people regardless of culture and religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The military asked about the work of the Mission in preparing for the reintegration of Crimea after its liberation. The Permanent Representative spoke more about the issues of responsibility for collaboration, the formation of a personnel reserve for the de-occupied Crimea, as well as the verification of documents and their replacement with state-issued documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of the event was warm, informal communication: about home and families, about war and trenches, about children from liberated Kherson who organized improvised checkpoints and collected chevrons from the military.
