The Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva met with the delegation of the Warsaw Security Forum together with the Head of the Crimean Platform Support Service Maria Tomak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation included: Katarzyna Pisarska, Chairperson of the Warsaw Security Forum; Mark Carleton-Smith, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom (2018-2022); Linas Linkevi\u010dius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania (2012-2020); Jacek Chaputowicz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland (2018-2020); Andrzej Falkowski, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland (2011-2013), former Polish representative to the EU and NATO Military Committees, Robert Pschel, Chief of the NATO Information Office in Moscow (2010-2015), Nicolas Tenser, Senior Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), Tomasz Smura, Member of the Board of the Kazimierz Pulaski Foundation, Bart\u0142omiej Kot, Program Director of the Warsaw Security Forum, Andrzej Kozlowski, Director of the Analytics Department of the Kazimierz Pulaski Foundation, and Bart\u0142omiej Nowak, Chairman of the United Nations Association Program Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamila Tasheva spoke about the activities of the Mission in the reintegration of the liberated Crimea, as well as the challenges that the body faced after 2014 and 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are preparing for reintegration processes in every sphere. We understand that Crimea has been outside the processes taking place in Ukraine for a long time and will require the implementation of systemic programs. We are already forming a personnel reserve and have developed best practices for each sector,” the Permanent Representative said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Tomak told the audience about the current situation in the occupied Crimea, in particular about the resistance of our citizens to the occupiers. She mentioned the resistance movements, as well as isolated cases of people’s protests against the Russian invaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The members of the delegation noted that they follow the activities of the Mission, as well as the events on the Crimean peninsula, and look forward to visiting the Crimean peninsula in person after its de-occupation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
