Deputy Permanent Representative Olha Kuryshko spoke at the presentation of the results of a large sociological survey “WAR. PEACE. VICTORY. FUTURE”, conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation jointly with the Center for Political Sociology at the request of the International Center for Ukrainian Victory (ICUV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with Ms. Kuryshko, the other speakers were Alyona Getmanchuk, founder and director of the New Europe Center; Petro Burkovsky, executive director of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation; Oleksandr Sushko, executive director of the International Renaissance Foundation; Hanna Hopko, co-founder of ICUV and chair of the board of ANTS; and Daria Kaleniuk, co-founder of ICUV and executive director of the Anti-Corruption Action Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was moderated by Olha Aivazovska, co-founder of ICUV, Head of the Board of the Civil Network “OPORA”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olga Kuryshko reminded the audience that after the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has been using the “Crimean scenario” during the occupation of new territories of Ukraine: it includes forced passportization and militarization of education, as well as other crimes that have been taking place on the peninsula since 2014, as a way to overcome Ukrainian resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Permanent Representative spoke about the Mission’s vision of the liberated Crimea, which is currently reflected in three documents: The Strategy of Economic Recovery of Crimea, De-occupied Crimea: Priority Steps of the State, and the Strategy of Cognitive De-occupation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
