Today, on June 17, the Council of the European Union has decided to extend the sanctions imposed by the European Union in response to Russia’s occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol until June 23, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sanctions were initially implemented in June 2014 and include a prohibition on the importation of goods originating from occupied Crimea, as well as on infrastructure or financial investments and tourist services in the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
