On June 25, the Mission hosted a workshop for young representatives of Ukraine’s indigenous peoples, national minorities, and various communities, including those from Kyiv and other regions. The participants worked to identify the needs, challenges, and problems faced by modern youth in Ukraine, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of their communities, and exploring development opportunities and challenges. A crucial aspect of this workshop was to amplify the voices of Ukraine’s indigenous peoples and national minorities and ensure their representation in youth policy. The workshop was moderated by Anna Ostrikova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop featured addresses by Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva and Oleksandr Sanchenko, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Co-Chairman of the Presidential Youth Council. They noted that the workshop’s findings would contribute to the development of the Concept of the State Target Social Program “Youth of Ukraine” 2026-2030:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n“This is not an ordinary event. We need to hear all opinions, even those that contradict others. Our goal is to consider all the comments and ideas as much as possible so that they are reflected in the Concept.”<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva, also a member of the Council on Youth Issues under the President of Ukraine, addressed the workshop participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n“At the Mission\/Office of the Crimea Platform, we focus a significant part of our efforts on working with young people, who are and will continue to be the main drivers of change in the world. It is essential to discuss the role of national minorities and indigenous peoples in the future of Ukraine today.
