Main news of the week:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The Sejm of the Republic of Poland adopted the Resolution “On the commemoration of the victims of the Crimean Tatar genocide”, which states that the deportation of the Crimean Tatars from Crimea in 1944 and its consequences constituted an act of genocide against the Crimean Tatar people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crimes of the occupation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 As of July 15, the occupiers illegally imprisoned 217 people, including 132 Crimean Tatars. Of the total number, 39 are arrested (including 28 Crimean Tatars), 149 are imprisoned (including 97 Crimean Tatars), and 28 are without status (including 6 Crimean Tatars).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 As of mid-July, 847 cases of materials drawn up under Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation were recorded in the so-called “courts” in temporarily occupied Crimea. In June, the occupiers unlawfully prosecuted at least 22 people for pro-Ukrainian statements and activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Remzi Bekirov, a citizen journalist and activist who was illegally sentenced to 19 years in prison, has been transferred to a transit point in Krasnoiarsk, where he may remain for a long time, after which he is likely to be transported to an unknown destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The transfer of Aider Dzhapparov, a Crimean political prisoner who was illegally sentenced to 17 years of imprisonment, from Verkhnouralsk prison in the Cheliabinsk region of the Russian Federation to Colony No. 5 in Koriazhma, Arkhangelsk region of the Russian Federation, was carried out in violation of the relevant regulations. Furthermore, the Crimean political prisoner Eskender Abdulhaniiev, who was illegally sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment, was transferred from Colony No. 41 in Yugra, Kemerovo region, where he was unjustly kept in a punishment cell for five months, to Colony No. 29 in Kemerovo, Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The wife of political prisoner, Crimean Tatar Tofik Abdulhaziiev, Aliie Kurtametova, reported that her husband has the fourth stage of disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis, which threatens his life. According to Russian “legislation”, a convict with such a disease can be released from prison. However, Aliie reports that he has been denied release by the Russians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Emil Kurbedinov, a Crimean lawyer, informed about the continuation of the interrogation of the prosecution witness Murat Mustafaiev, who was illegally sentenced to 4 years in prison in the so-called case of the “first Dzhankoi group”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The occupiers opened a criminal case against Tetiana Bibik, a resident of Yalta, who published posts on social media criticizing the occupation administration and supporting Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Previously, the woman was forced to apologize on camera and faces up to 5 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Crimean resident V. Kotelkov was sentenced to 19 years in a strict regime colony in a case of alleged high treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The occupiers have not yet disclosed the details of the “case”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forced mobilization:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 At least 844 soldiers of the Russian army were buried. It is estimated that 652 of the deceased were Ukrainian citizens. The number of burials may be higher, as many of them occur without media coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The capture of at least 46 Russian servicemen from occupied Crimea, most of whom are likely to be Ukrainian citizens, has been confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Militarization of the Crimean Peninsula:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 As indicated by satellite imagery, construction of the new Russian Project 23900 Ivan Rogov amphibious assault ship is underway at the Zalyv shipyard in Kerch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reports that the occupiers in Crimea have partially restored the Feodosia-13 facility, a Soviet nuclear weapons depot. However, the facility is now used as a storage facility for conventional ammunition of the Russian army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Activists of the ATESH resistance movement recorded an increase in the number of occupiers’ defensive positions along the Crimean coast and reconnoitered the Chersonese Airport, which is used by the occupiers as a base for UAVs. The activists also discovered the location of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate with a large amount of military equipment on the territory of a former Ukrainian military unit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Propaganda of the occupation administrations and incitement to hostility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The so-called “representative” of the occupation administration stated that: \u201cThe largest enterprises owned by Ukrainian or foreign citizens in Crimea are already owned by Russian investors.\u201d<\/em> The occupiers continue the practice of illegal nationalization of property of Ukrainian citizens in the occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The occupation administration of the city of Yevpatoriia applied to the “court” for permission to demolish the Ukrainian church of the parish of the Holy Image of the Mother of God “Neopalyma Kupyna” in the city of Yevpatoriia and the Administration of the Crimean Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public attitudes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 A 42-year-old man, working as a construction worker, allegedly passed information to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine about the location of occupation troops in Crimea and Sevastopol. A criminal case was opened against the man, who faces up to 20 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 A resident of the Yevpatoriia region spoke negatively about the Russian servicemen and spoke of his desire to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The occupiers detained the man, forced him to apologize on camera, and an illegal “court” imposed a fine of 50 thousand rubles on him, allegedly for “discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 A 30-year-old resident of Sevastopol called for violent actions against the occupiers on social media. The man was detained, and the occupation “court” imposed an illegal sentence of 1.5 years in prison with the deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the administration of websites and channels on the Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 A resident of Bilohirsk has expressed support for Ukraine on social media. The occupying forces prepared a report against the individual in question, which was then submitted to the occupying “court”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement continue to resist the occupiers in Crimea, destroying copies of propaganda materials and distributing patriotic symbols in the occupied cities on the peninsula, particularly in Simferopol, Sevastopol, Bakhchysarai, Yalta, and Yevpatoriia. In Simferopol, for example, patriotic symbols were placed on Zakharova, Polihonna, Radianska and Berehova streets. On the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement left messages in support of Ukraine in Yalta, Simferopol, Sevastopol, and Alushta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Activists of the Crimean Combat Seagulls continue to expose the personal data of collaborators and Russian war criminals in occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The Zla Mavka resistance movement continues to publish its diaries, distribute a weekly newspaper revealing the occupiers’ crimes, and distribute Ukrainian symbols. The patriotic stickers were distributed in the center of Yalta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
