This day serves as another reminder of the unstoppable power, energy, and indomitable spirit of our youth, who are the future of our country.<br>This holiday has become even more important thanks to the Decree of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, issued in 2021. According to this decree, Youth Day in Ukraine is now celebrated annually on International Youth Day, August 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On this day, we express our gratitude to passionate young people, young people who care. This is gratitude to the young people who demonstrate daily commitment and love for Ukraine.<br>We thank the young people defending our country in the ranks of the Defense Forces, defending Ukraine&#8217;s territorial integrity, freedom, and independence, and the opportunity to be called citizens of Ukraine. We also thank the young volunteers who selflessly help in the most challenging times. Finally, we pay tribute to those who gave their lives for their homeland in the Russian-Ukrainian war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We must remember the young people representing Ukraine internationally, particularly at the Olympic Games and other sporting events. They demonstrate that Ukraine is a country of strong, talented, and ambitious people capable of achieving great heights even in the most challenging times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Youth Day is also equally dedicated to those who remain faithful to the Ukrainian spirit in the occupied territories, risking persecution by the occupation administration. This is a day of honor for those who, despite all the difficulties, preserve their identity and culture and their faith in the freedom and unity of their country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This day is also about those who will rebuild Ukraine and participate in reintegration processes, including in the liberated Ukrainian Crimea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We stand with you in your struggle for justice, the restoration of Ukraine&#8217;s territorial integrity, and your right to a happy, free, and prosperous future in your native land. Your dreams, aspirations, activity, and talent will help restore Crimea and make it a thriving region in a united and independent Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Youth Day is a holiday that reminds us of the power and potential of our youth and their importance for the future of our country.
