The occupiers detained the man, and an illegal &#8220;court&#8221; imposed a fine on him as a punishment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A resident of Armiansk expressed support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on social media. The occupiers detained the woman, drew up a report, and sent the materials to an illegal &#8220;court.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A resident of Feodosiia chanted pro-Ukrainian slogans, including &#8220;Glory to Ukraine,&#8221; and tried to sing the Ukrainian anthem. On August 24, Independence Day, activists held a large-scale action to spread Ukrainian symbols in Sevastopol, Simferopol, Yalta, Alushta and Simeiz. In particular, the flag of Ukraine was raised on a hill on the shore of the Simferopol Reservoir.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activists of the Crimean Combat Seagulls continue to expose the personal data of collaborators and Russian war criminals in occupied Crimea. In particular, the activists once again reminded the Russian collaborator Talipov that his persecution of Ukrainian citizens would not go unpunished.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Zla Mavka resistance movement continues to write diaries, distribute a weekly newspaper revealing the occupiers&#8217; crimes, and distribute patriotic symbols, particularly in Kerch, Simferopol, and Sevastopol. The movement&#8217;s activists redesigned the Russian rubles to mark Ukraine&#8217;s Independence Day, removing Russian elements and distributing them in the peninsula&#8217;s cities. They also inform about the situation in the occupied territories and destroy Russian symbols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New illegal administrative proceedings in the occupation courts of Crimea under the article on the so-called &#8220;discrediting the Russian Armed Forces&#8221; also testify to the growing resistance. As of August 15, 2024, there were 943 cases of materials drawn up under Art. 20.3.3 of the Russian Federation Administrative Code recorded in the so-called &#8220;courts&#8221; in the temporarily occupied Crimea and other competent authorities. In 836 of these cases, a decision was made to impose an administrative penalty in the form of a fine or to join the case to another case under another article and make a cumulative decision. In 20 cases, the &#8220;judges&#8221; still consider the decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on gender, Russians issued 354 (42%) decisions against women and 481 (58%) against men in Crimea. In total, the aggregate amount of fines imposed has already amounted to at least\u00a0 26,4 million Russian rubles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We thank everyone for their courage and clear public stance.
