The Crimean Tatar woman&#8217;s phone was seized, and she was taken to the building of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Simferopol, where she was held until mid-day after taking a non-disclosure agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Invaders\u2019 crimes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 As of September 2, the occupiers have illegally imprisoned <strong>219<\/strong> people, including <strong>133<\/strong> Crimean Tatars. Of the total number, 43 are arrested (28 of them are Crimean Tatars), 151 are imprisoned (97 of them are Crimean Tatars), and 26 are without status (6 of them are Crimean Tatars).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 As of September 2, there were <strong>943<\/strong> cases of filing of reports under Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation to the so-called &#8220;courts&#8221; on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. In 836 of these cases, a decision was made to impose an administrative penalty in the form of a fine or to join the case to another case under another article and make a cumulative decision. In 18 cases, the consideration of materials is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The Russian court in Rostov-on-Don has commenced an unlawful trial of the so-called &#8220;fifth Bakhchysarai group of Crimean Muslims,&#8221; including Seidamet Mustafaiev, Eldar Yakubov, Abdulmedzhyt Seitumerov, Ruslan Asanov, Ametkhan Umerov, and Remzi Nimetulaiev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\u00a0 An occupational &#8220;court&#8221; in Crimea illegally sentenced a resident of Feodosiia to 18 years in prison in absentia on falsified charges of alleged &#8220;high treason.&#8221; In February 2022, the Crimean resident joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in hostilities against Russian troops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The occupational &#8220;court&#8221; illegally declared <strong>Seiran Ibrahimov<\/strong>, the founder of the Qirim independent newspaper, guilty of abuse of freedom of information and imposed a fine of 250 thousand rubles.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\u00a0 Five Crimean Tatars, illegally accused in the so-called &#8220;Crimean Muslims case&#8221;\u2013Tofik Abdulhaziiev, Vladlen Abdulkadyrov, Izzet Abdullaiev, Medzhit Abdurakhmanov, and Bilial Adilov\u2013were denied cassation appeal against the verdict of the Court of First Instance and the decision of the Court of Appeal on long prison terms by the &#8220;Supreme Court&#8221; of the Russian Federation. The political prisoners will continue to serve their illegal sentences in Russian prisons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\u00a0 <strong>Ruslan Nahaiev<\/strong>, who was illegally sentenced by Russia to 13 years in prison in the so-called &#8220;Crimean Muslims case,&#8221; is in deteriorating health. His chronic disease has entered the inflammatory stage, resulting in a decline in his health condition. He has been transferred to the prison hospital at Prison No. 1 in Verkhnouralsk, located in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia. Despite Nahaiev&#8217;s repeated requests for the help of a specialized doctor, the prison administration has ignored his pleas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\u00a0 Crimean Tatar activist <strong>Enver Ametov<\/strong>, illegally sentenced to 13 years in prison, is in deteriorating health in Prison #2 in Yelets, Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation. Enver met with his family for the first time in five and a half years on an extended visit. According to his wife, he had lost 15 kilograms. While in the Novocherkassk detention center, Enver&#8217;s stomach pain intensified, and his hepatitis worsened, as did his dental problems and his eyesight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Forcible conscription:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 At least <strong>904<\/strong> soldiers of the Russian army were buried. <strong>719<\/strong> of them were probably Ukrainian citizens. The number of burials may be higher, as many are carried out without coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The capture of at least <strong>47<\/strong> Russian servicemen from occupied Crimea has been confirmed, most of whom are likely to be Ukrainian citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Militarization of the Crimean Peninsula:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 Activists of the ATESH resistance movement have determined that Russian troops continue to move ammunition, fuel, and mobile refueling stations due to frequent attacks by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. To this end, they have begun constructing a new road near the village of Tymashivka. In addition, members of the resistance movement have tracked down new storage sites on the peninsula and reconnoitered the occupiers&#8217; military facilities in Sevastopol and the village of Pryvitne, the Yalta region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The occupation administration of Crimea has intensified its inspections of the population after the Ukrainian Defense Forces&#8217; strikes on infrastructure. The occupying forces have increased the number of patrols near ports and military facilities, and Russian security forces are conducting illegal random checks of the local population. Specifically, the occupying forces are interested in people&#8217;s phones and the content of information on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Propaganda of the occupation administrations and incitement to hostility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 In occupied Crimea, the Russian administration has illegally authorized the granting of free land plots to Russians who will sign a contract with the Russian Armed Forces and participate in the armed aggression against Ukraine, regardless of their place of registration. At the end of July, it became known that in the Kerch region of occupied Crimea, the occupiers had already formed a thousand land plots, which they planned to divide among the Russian military personnel who participated in the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The occupiers in Crimea continue to seize historical sites illegally. Another was a historic building in the center of Simferopol, located on Kirov Avenue, which used to house the Institute of Mineral Resources. The occupation administration sold the building to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 Due to holding another illegal election to the so-called &#8220;parliament of Crimea&#8221; and local occupation &#8220;councils,&#8221; the occupation administration introduced remote learning in many Crimean schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The Russian occupation administration of Crimea continues to assimilate the local population and carries out illegal propaganda among young people. Starting September 1, two new subjects will be added to the curriculum in schools in occupied Crimea: Fundamentals of Security and Defense of the Motherland with modules Labor and Fundamentals of Military Training. In addition, a new subject, Family Studies, is being introduced as part of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\u00a0 Due to the occupiers&#8217; negligence, Crimea&#8217;s energy crisis continues, and the city of Yevpatoriia has been added to the list of cities with power outages. According to the occupation &#8220;administration&#8221; representative, 5,474 town residents were left without electricity. In general, the difficult situation is observed in Simferopol, Saky, and Dzhankoi, as well as in the villages of Vyshneve, Bila Skelia, Yabluchne, Myronivka, Smarahdove, and other settlements. However, the occupation administration continues to assure that the situation is controlled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The occupation administration continues to illegally transfer the population of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation to occupied Crimea, allegedly as part of their &#8220;evacuation,&#8221; deploying, in particular, units of the Russian Armed Forces to the peninsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 Fuel prices continue to rise in occupied Crimea due to fuel shortages. The fuel shortage on the peninsula is caused by the fact that a significant portion of the available gasoline and diesel fuel reserves are used for the needs of the Russian army. This situation leaves minimal supplies for the local population, further complicating the situation. Drivers have difficulty finding affordable fuel, as many gas stations have almost no A-95 gasoline or offer it at a significantly inflated price, reflecting the general crisis in the fuel market in Crimea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Civil resistance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 A 31-year-old resident of Feodosiia chanted the national slogan \u201cGlory to Ukraine\u201d and sang the Ukrainian anthem. Russian security forces detained him, drew up an administrative report, and sent the case file to the \u201ccourt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 A 61-year-old resident of Armiansk expressed support for the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in a social network. Russian security forces drew up a report against her and sent the case file to the \u201ccourt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 A 60-year-old resident of Bilohirsk expressed support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and opposition to the actions of the occupation forces in a social network. Russian security forces detained him and sent the case file to the \u201ccourt.\u201d The man faces a fine of 30 to 50 thousand rubles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 A resident of Yevpatoriia spoke negatively about the occupation regime, against Russia&#8217;s war of aggression and the actions of its troops on social media. Russian security forces detained the man, illegally fined him 40 thousand rubles, and arrested him for three days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 A 37-year-old resident of Feodosiia spoke out against the Russian occupation and the actions of the occupation administration. He was detained by Russian security forces, and the case file was sent to the \u201ccourt.\u201d A criminal case was opened against the man; he faces up to 5 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 A 56-year-old resident of the village of Rivne in the Kurmansk region spoke negatively about the President of the Russian Federation. The man was detained by Russian security forces, and the \u201ccourt\u201d sentenced him to 10 days of administrative arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 Activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement continue to resist the occupiers in Crimea, destroying Russian propaganda materials and spreading patriotic symbols in the occupied cities on the peninsula. In particular, activists held a rally in Kherson. Activists also report growing dissatisfaction among the population of occupied Crimea with the actions of the Russian authorities. Residents are increasingly discussing their acts. Activists say that this is due to the occupiers&#8217; sense of weakness.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 Activists of the Crimean Combat Seagulls continue to disclose the personal data of collaborators and Russian war criminals in occupied Crimea. They disseminate information about their places of residence, contacts, and deployment, thus complicating the activities of the occupation administration. At the same time, activists warn civilians about possible Russian provocations on the peninsula, calling for caution in the face of growing instability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6 The Zla Mavka resistance movement continues decorating occupied territories with patriotic inscriptions and stickers, particularly in different parts of Simferopol and other Crimean settlements. The activists write diaries describing the realities of life under occupation, telling stories of residents&#8217; resistance, hardship, and courage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mission continues to receive inquiries from Ukrainian citizens who want to leave Crimea because they cannot tolerate the occupation and total propaganda.
