On November 23, Ukraine and the world honor the memory of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932\u20131933 and the mass artificial famines of 1921\u20131923 and 1946\u20131947. On this day, we remember the millions of innocent lives destroyed by the Soviet regime and pay tribute to the suffering of those who survived these harrowing times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the third consecutive year, we commemorate this tragedy amidst a full-scale war, and for the tenth year, under conditions of Russian aggression. Just as 91 years ago, the occupier sought to subjugate the Ukrainian people and erase the memory of the Ukrainian nation from the face of the earth. Yet, our remembrance of these tragic events and the cynical crimes of the past compels us to approach the actions of the aggressor with unwavering resolve and clarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We invite you to join the nationwide moment of silence at 4:00 p.m. and to light a candle in memory of those who perished and suffered from these artificial famines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
