On January 24, 2025, by Decree No. 59\/2025<\/a>, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Olha Kuryshko as the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Prior to this, she had served as Acting Permanent Representative since December 5, 2024, and had held the position of Deputy Permanent Representative since 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olha Kuryshko holds a degree from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. She worked as a lawyer in the private, public, and civil sectors, including with CrimeaSOS, where she served as an advocacy expert and deputy chair of the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2021, she joined the team at the Mission of the President of Ukraine and headed the Legal Department. In this role, she contributed to the development of strategic and programmatic documents related to the reintegration of Crimea, participated actively in drafting legal acts protecting the rights of Crimeans, and focused on issues such as access to education, pension benefits, identity document issuance, and support for political prisoners and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Olha Kuryshko coordinated the implementation of projects aimed at raising public awareness about the consequences of occupation, enhancing international cooperation on de-occupation efforts, and protecting human rights. She actively contributed to strengthening communication with representatives of the Crimean community, providing them with legal assistance and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
