Today, Permanent Representative Olha Kuryshko participated in a meeting of the Coordination Centre for the Management of the Regions Where Military Operations Are Ongoing or Have Taken Place, as Well as the Territories That Have Been Temporarily Occupied, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine\u2014Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Oleksii Kuleba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting focused on the regulatory framework for the reintegration of temporarily occupied territories and the transitional period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During her speech, Olha Kuryshko highlighted the Mission\u2019s ongoing efforts, particularly its active work on implementing mechanisms for restoring state governance after de-occupation. She emphasized the importance of establishing military administrations, as outlined in Draft Law No. 11064, which proposes amendments to the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn the Legal Regime of Martial Law\u201d regarding the specificities of restoring public authority in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. The draft law was developed by the Mission in cooperation with other government bodies and experts. Additionally, she underscored the need for a systematic approach to supporting citizens who remain in the temporarily occupied territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Permanent Representative also emphasized the Mission\u2019s readiness to actively participate in developing solutions aimed at returning liberated territories to Ukraine\u2019s constitutional order and ensuring effective state governance.
