Main news of the week:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 3 March Ukrainian forces struck the Sopka-2 and Kasta-2E2 radar stations used to detect aerial targets. During the night of 7\u20138 March, the military struck a Pantsir-S1anti-aircraft missile and gun system and a BK-16 boat. The Defense Forces also hit a command post for Orion UAVs near the Krasnopillia district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 On 9 March, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck four radar stations, including Oborona-14 and Nebo-U, as well as two additional stations in Yevpatoriia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement in Crimea spread pro-Ukrainian messages and symbols, emphasizing that despite the temporary occupation, the position of local residents remains unchanged \u2014 they support Ukraine. In particular, on 9 March, the birthday of Taras Shevchenko, references to the Kobzar and the phrase \u201cStruggle \u2014 and you will overcome\u201d appeared in Alushta, Simferopol, and Sevastopol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invaders\u2019 crimes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 As of early February 2026, 284<\/strong> individuals are subject to judicial persecution in occupied Crimea, 159 <\/strong>of whom are Crimean Tatars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 As of February 23, 2026, 1,693<\/strong> cases have been documented for the filing of reports under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation concerning the so-called discrediting of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. In 1,560 cases, decisions were made to impose fines or to consolidate cases with cumulative rulings. In 20 cases, proceedings are still ongoing. 53% of the rulings (825) involve women, while 47% (733) involve men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Yunus Suleimanov, who was detained on February 12, has been transferred to Pre-trial Detention Center No. 2 in Simferopol. The man is suspected of belonging to the Islamic party “Hizb ut-Tahrir,” which is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia. The Crimean Tatar will remain under arrest at least until April 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The health of Crimean political prisoner Rustem Musarov has deteriorated. He has been held for more than 45 days in the punishment cell of a correctional colony in the Saratov region of the RF, suspected of belonging to “Hizb ut-Tahrir.” Notably, he has lost 10 kilograms, and also suffers from constantly high blood pressure and headaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The Supreme Court of the RF upheld the previously issued verdict against Nina Tymoshenko, a resident of temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The woman was convicted of “high treason” in 2025 for allegedly “gathering information about the Russian Black Sea Fleet.” However, the case review and sentencing took place in a closed session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 According to the wife of Tofik Abdulgaziev, before a court hearing, the Russian occupiers forced him to sign documents stating that he “has no complaints and is healthy.” Due to his deteriorating eyesight, he could not read the documents, and the doctors refused to help him, applying moral pressure. Only in court did he hear the content of the document he had signed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forcible conscription:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 At least 2,801<\/strong> military personnel from RF units stationed in Crimea have been killed. 1,459<\/strong> of them are likely Ukrainian citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The capture of at least 125 <\/strong>Russian military personnel from Crimea has been confirmed. The majority are likely Ukrainian citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Militarization of the Crimean Peninsula:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The “Krymskyi Veter” monitoring group recorded the placement of orange fuel trucks near Inkerman, which had not been there before. According to the group, such transport is likely used to supply fuel to the Russian occupiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The Russian occupiers continue to systematically militarize the youth. At the “Coastal Agrarian College” in Crimea, the third “Unmanned Technologies” workshop concluded. 100 people participated, from whom 32 finalists were selected. The youth mastered not only theoretical but also practical drone control skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Propaganda of the occupying administrations and incitement to hostility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 According to the “Vidsich” movement, the Russian occupiers are intensifying the involvement of schoolchildren in the “YUNARMIYA” military-patriotic movement. Instructions are being sent to school administrations to involve even more children and youth in the movement, particularly by organizing “patriotic” events. In this way, the occupation “administration” in Crimea is shaping a generation of children loyal to itself and spreading propaganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
