Today, in the village of Yarke Pole (Qızıl Terçek), Kirovsky district, occupation forces conducted an illegal search in the house of representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people. After that, the occupiers seized two brothers, Jafer and Alim Alustayev, and took them for interrogation to the occupation department of the FSB in Simferopol.

According to the Crimean Solidarity, masked FSB officers arrived in three cars without license plates, climbed over the fence, surrounded the house and turned over every possible corner during the search. The occupation forces did not leave any “orders” and confiscated cell phones. The older brother Jafer works in a cafe in Koktebel, and the younger Alim is a hairdresser. Both are married, Mr. Jafer has a small child.

The Mission demands to stop politically motivated persecution and immediately release the illegally detained citizens of Ukraine! We draw the attention of the law enforcement agencies and the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to another gross violation of the rights of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.

Only the de-occupation of Crimea will ensure the safety and peaceful life of our citizens!
