In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information”, individuals, legal entities, and associations of citizens without legal entity status, except for governmental entities, have the right to apply to the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea with a request for information.
The request for information, which is managed by the Mission, may be submitted by the requestor at his/her choice

The request for information must contain:
- the name of the requestor, postal or e-mail address, and telephone number, if available;
- if known to the requestor, a general description of the information or the type, name, details or content of the document in respect of which the request is made;
- signature and date (if the request is made in writing).
When submitting a request for information, please indicate the form of information that is convenient for you.
To submit a written request, you can use the form available on the official website of the Mission. As the information manager, the Mission shall respond no later than 5 business days from the date of receipt of the request.
According to the Law on Access to Public Information, if the request concerns information necessary to protect the life or freedom of a person, the state of the environment, the quality of food and household items, accidents, disasters, natural hazards and other emergencies that have occurred or may occur and threaten the safety of citizens, the response must be provided no later than 48 hours from the date of receipt of the request.
Please note that a request for urgent processing of a request must be substantiated.
If the request concerns the provision of a large amount of information or requires searching for it among a significant amount of data, the information manager may extend the term for processing the request up to 20 business days. The information administrator shall notify the requestor in writing of the extension of the term with justification no later than 5 business days from the date of receipt of the request.
Pursuant to the Law “On Access to Public Information”, decisions, actions or omissions of information administrators may be appealed to the head of the administrator, a higher authority or a court.
Appeals against decisions, actions or omissions of information administrators to the court are made in accordance with The Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine.
