The Permanent Representative, Tamila Tasheva, participated in the discussion panel “Returning the Occupied Territories: A Strategic View,” dedicated to the future of the occupied Ukrainian territories after de-occupation. The discussion was organized by the Ukrainian School of Political Studies in cooperation with the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, with the support of the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine.

In her speech, Tamila Tasheva described the state policy of reintegration and restoration of the de-occupied territories. She emphasized the achievements of the Mission, particularly the documents “Priorities of Ukraine After De-occupation of Crimea,” “Strategy for the Restoration of Crimea After De-occupation,” and “Strategy for the Cognitive De-occupation of Crimea,” which was submitted for approval to the Government.


The Permanent Representative also highlighted the unique aspects of the restoration of the Ukrainian legal system and public authorities in the de-occupied territories. She underscored the significance of identifying, developing, and enhancing solutions to be implemented before and after the liberation of the peninsula, particularly in the areas of restoring justice on the peninsula, Ukrainian public authorities, and humanitarian, educational, informational reintegration, and cognitive de-occupation.
