About the Mission

Manages the civil service of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea

The department provides expert, advisory, informational and other support, implements projects and activities within the framework of the Crimean Platform, and facilitates the coordination of such activities with other authorities and the Crimean Platform’s Expert Network. The Unit is engaged in expert and informational work to promote and raise awareness of the issues of de-occupation and reintegration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and strengthens cooperation with international intergovernmental organizations. Promotes the development of an extensive network of partnerships in the public and non-governmental sectors to join forces in the implementation of international measures for the de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The department is engaged in providing advisory assistance to citizens of Ukraine residing in the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimean peninsula, or IDPs. The unit also ensures the general office work of the body, electronic and paper document exchange, and archiving of documents.

The department performs the duties of the press service and provides information support for the activities of the Mission, ensures effective interaction with the media. The unit participates in building an effective model of communication with the citizens of Ukraine who live in the temporarily occupied territory or have moved from the temporarily occupied territory and are in other regions of Ukraine. It is also engaged in informing the society, including the international community, about the situation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, developing the communication strategy of the Mission, the action plan for its implementation and monitoring its implementation.

The department provides analytical support for the current activities of the Mission, analytical support for the work of the Permanent Representative and her deputy, and prepares the Mission’s reports on its main activities. It also ensures monitoring of the situation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and related processes in other territories of Ukraine and monitoring of the activities of the state bodies of Ukraine in relation to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The department is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the state budget policy in the Mission, organizing and coordinating the planning and financial work, accounting for the financial and economic activities of the Mission. The unit provides logistical support at the expense of the state funds for the needs of the Mission in accordance with the requirements of the law.
