As part of the collaboration between the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, a series of lectures were conducted throughout 2024 at various international universities. These lectures highlighted the topic of occupied Crimea from multiple perspectives.
Supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland, the December 17 lecture at Universität Basel focused on Ukraine’s efforts to regain Crimea. The lecture was part of the course The Lost Island? History of Crimea Since the 18th Century, taught by Professor Olena Palko.
