On December 29, 2024, Viktor Korol, a soldier of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, was killed in action against Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region. Viktor was born in Ukrainian Bakhchysarai, in temporarily occupied Crimea, and was 40 years old.

He received higher education at the Ternopil Ivan Pulyuj National Technical University and later continued his studies at Lutsk National Technical University.

After the occupation of Crimea in 2014, Viktor left the peninsula and joined Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

Viktor Korol gave his life for the peace and freedom of Ukraine. Eternal glory to the hero!
