Today marks a special day—the anniversary of our institution. The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea celebrates 32 years of unwavering commitment to its primary goal: the liberation and future of Crimea, an inseparable part of Ukraine.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who believes in Victory, fights for freedom, and supports our initiatives. This year, we have achieved significant milestones that have brought the liberation of Crimea closer and laid the foundation for the effective reintegration of the peninsula.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose efforts allow us to continue our work. We honor the bravery of our defenders, who have made the occupiers feel the consequences of their illegal presence, whether on their “bridges” or military bases, inspiring us all.
We are grateful to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, members of Parliament, and our partners from the state and civil sectors. Together, we successfully organized the Fourth Crimea Platform Summit, advocated for the international recognition of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people as genocide, launched educational programs for reintegrating de-occupied territories, and developed a series of critical legislative initiatives.
The year 2024 has been a year of tangible actions. We have hosted dozens of events under the Crimea Platform, supported our citizens who remain in temporarily occupied Crimea, and assisted those forced to leave their homes. Over 1,400 citizen inquiries were processed—ranging from assistance with documents to providing guidance on leaving occupied territories.
Our efforts have included organizing the Forum for the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea, the annual Iftar, memorial events marking the 80th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people, and cultural exhibitions to preserve and celebrate Crimea’s culture and historical memory.
We continue to monitor the situation on the occupied peninsula, compile information to hold violators of our citizens’ rights accountable, and actively cooperate with international partners to expedite Crimea’s liberation.
Crimea is Ukraine, and this anniversary serves as a reminder that our journey toward Victory continues. Thank you to everyone who believes, fights, and helps along the way.
