On April 6, 2014, was killed Stanislav Karachevsky, officer of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was shot in the back by a Russian Marine.
This is another indication of an armed aggression by the Russian Federation and was accompanied by obstruction of the work of journalists, harassment and abduction of activists, tortures, abuses, false court verdicts and even murders.
He died in the corridor of a dormitory in Novofedorivka. According to witnesses, the occupiers behaved arrogantly, aggressively and did not hide their affiliation to the Russian army.
That day Stanislav had been preparing his belongings to leave for the Ukrainian region of Mykolaev, when an argument broke out with Russian servicemen.
The killer of the Ukrainian military – the Russian marine segeant Yevgeny Zaitsev from Yakutia – was sentenced to only two years in a penal colony.
At the same time, in January 2016, Putin cynically stated in an interview for the German newspaper “Bild”: “We did not fight, we did not occupy anyone, we did not shoot, no one died as a result of the events in Crimea. No one.»
We respect our heroes, we remember the resistance, which took place then, and which still continues in occupied Crimea.
