Ukraine has increased social rights of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol with a free secondary legal aid guaranteed by the state for protection, representation of interests and execution of procedural documents.
The Law “On the High Council of Justice” initiated by the President of Ukraine and approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine guarantees the registered internally displaced persons a right to free secondary legal aid, despite of their average monthly income.
It is necessary to mention that the citizens of Ukraine who filed an application for registration of the internally displaced persons and did not receive a certificate of the internally displaced person, and consider that their rights have been violated, have the right to a free legal aid in execution of procedural documents or right to obtain the services connected with representation of interests to solve issues to get a certificate of registration of the internally displaced person.
The citizens can get more information on issues related to the provision of free legal aid by calling the “hot line” 0800213103 or applying to the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
