11 June Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as a speaker took part at the plenary panel discussion on Crimea, within the 1st International Investment Forum “Southern Development Strategy”, held on 10-11 June the village Strilkove, Henitchesk district, Kherson region.
Anton Korynevych in his statement noted that over two last yeast years a lot of work has been done at domestic level on de-occupation of the TOT AR of Crimea and city of Sevastopol. In particular, the Strategy on de-occupation and reintegration of the TOT of the AR of Crimea and city of Sevastopol was adopted which is a key document for the state agencies in the direction of de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea. The President of Ukraine has signed a range of Decrees on de-occupation of Crimea. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a concept of the development of the Crimean Tatar language and Strategy of the development of the Crimean Tatar Language is currently drafting, including alphabet based on Latin graphics. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted a draft law “On the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine” to the Verkhovna Rada as urgent.
Permanent Representative noted the importance to develop the narration of the Ukrainian Crimea. That’s why the establishment by Decree of the President of Ukraine the “The Day of resistance to the occupation of Crimea” is so essential and the fact that Forum is held in geographic and historical Crimea (the village of Strilkove belonged to Dzhankoy district of Crimea) promotes this narrative.
Permanent Representative also emphasized the importance of the Crimean Platform office to be created to ensure daily continuous implementation of this initiative.
