One more year of independence of modern Ukraine goes into history; it was full of positive changes and significant achievements of the Ukrainian people on the way of formation of a strong and democratic state.

The stability of idea of the European course, perseverance and persistency of the people of Ukraine brought the country to a new stage of development and that was highly appreciated by our international partners and allies.

The achievements of the outgoing year have to accelerate the reforms in the next 2017, to improve the welfare of the citizens and raise the social standards, increase economic performance and to improve the investment climate, significantly strengthen the country’s defense and to increase in its defensive power, promote the protection of rights and freedoms of person and citizen and to ensure the right to a fair court.

The victories and successes of Ukraine on the political and diplomatic levels demonstrate a clear position and devotion of the state to the national interests in the establishment of peace and restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine expand the possibilities in the fight for destiny and freedom of the residents of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
