A revolution of dignity, which embodies an age-long dream of the Ukrainian people to establish the ideals of freedom and democracy in the state and Ukraine’s movement toward prosperity and European future to take a rightful place among the countries of the civilized world, has started three years ago.

The positive changes, that are taking place in Ukraine, are an undisputed evidence of persistence and perseverance of the Ukrainian society in the process of development of a strong state. In particular, 144 paragraphs of the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan, including a number of vitally important reforms for the state, have been already realized. The European Council highly appreciated these steps and unanimously adopted a resolution confirming a full implementation of all the commitments by Ukraine, and thereby declared a clear political will of all the members to grant a visa-free travel regime to Ukraine in the near future.

The restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol is an integral part of Ukraine’s national interests.

May faith does not leave the residents of Crimea. Returning of well-being, human and civil rights, justice and mutual respect will happen unfailingly, and we will build a European state together in unity.
