The Chief Consultant of the Mission Iryna Mychalchuk participated in a special event “Documentary Saloon” held in the Kherson Regional Academic Scientific Library on the 26^th of February to mark the fourth anniversary of the Day of Resistance of Crimea to Russia’s occupation.

Abmedgyt Suleymanov, the member of Medjlis of Crimean Tatar People, the heads and memebers of the regional and local Medjlises of Crimean Tatar People, scientists, representatives of youth, students and civil society institutions took part in the event. Abmedgyt Suleymanov in his address remembered sad and tragic events of the 26^th of Februry 2014 that had brought grief and sorrow to all residents of Crimean peninsula. He recalled a day which had become remarkable for whole Ukraine.

In a framework of the meeting a screening of documentary “ Kremlin’s Prisoners” describing the events of Crimea occupation and Ukrainians being held hostage against their will by the Kremlin authorities was shown.
