Each last Saturday of November we pay tribute to the memory of millions of Ukrainians, the victims of artificially created hunger in years 1932-1933.
The ideologists and accomplices had been hiding from the whole world their crime against humanity, concealing the genocide in Ukraine organized by the Soviet regime with a strong layer of lies and myths. Using methods of horrification and bans, they were trying to erase memories about the tragic events of that time of living witnesses of the Famine and Genocide (“Holodomor”); the truth had to disappear for future generations.
The Famine-Genocide and totalitarian system did not break the Ukrainian people. Today we observe national, cultural, political, economic and military recovery of the independent Ukrainian state, despite of the armed and informational aggression against the country by the followers of the Soviet regime. Step by step Ukraine approximates to the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state.
Paying tribute to the memory of victims of the Ukrainian Famine-Genocide (“Holodomor”), we bring peace to the souls of dead people, because this sorrow would be never forgotten by the Ukrainians and world community, and there are and always will be people to pray and to light on a spark of memory and grief.
We honour and remember!
