In August 11, 2018 President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated occupied Yalta on its city day. “Fascinating Yalta is a real pearl of Crimea. Crimea is a real pearl of the Ukrainian state” – pointed out President of Ukraine. Petro Poroshenko expressed confidence that a blue and yellow flag will be raised in Yalta and across Crimea and the Ukrainian hymn will be performed: “Ukraine has not perished, neither Her glory, nor freedom.”
