On 5 December 2018 the First Deputy Head of the Committee Sergiy Kaplin headed the Advisory board meeting on medical reforms matters, held in the framework of the Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision. The problems arising out of the implementation of State – guaranteed primary health care of the population were discussed including providing medical services and drugs under the State-Guaranteed Program.
The Head of the Department of International Connections of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in ARC Yevgeny Samukha highlighted the current state of health care in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, noting the problematic issues related to the access to health care for the internally displaced persons and residents of the peninsula in the mainland Ukraine. He stressed on the need to include the Ukrainian medical establishments of higher education into the program “Crimea – Ukraine”.
