In Ukraine, the internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol receive a timely and qualitative medical aid at all state and municipal establishments of health protection of the country, without any exception.
According to the information, received by the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from the state governmental authorities, 6234 persons underwent a course of treatment in the outpatient facilities in 2016, 1494 persons received hospital treatment and 1953 persons were registered on dispensary for diseases.
The largest number of persons, registered by the medical establishments of Ukraine, are recorded in the city of Kyiv (2059 persons) and Kyiv region (971 persons), and also in Lviv (861 persons), Vinnytsia (703 persons) and Dnipropetrovsk (570 persons) regions.
Except for requests for medical care, the citizens submit applications connected with disability and execution of documents necessary for the enrollment to the general secondary schools and pre-school establishments, and also for sanatorium-resort therapy.
The provision of the internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol with medicines is performed free of charge or on a preferential basis in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and within the limits of budgets, approved for the current year.
525 persons received medicines free of charge for a total amount of 705.3 thousand UAH in 2016. The largest amount of medicines were provided to the citizens in Kharkiv region – 240.2 thousand UAH, in the city of Kyiv – 176.4 thousand UAH, in Dnipropetrovsk region – 59.4 thousand UAH, Lviv region – 38.7 thousand UAH, Kherson region – 36 thousand UAH, Kyiv region – 29 thousand UAH and Chernivtsi region – 26 thousand UAH.
202 internally displaced persons received medicines on a preferential basis for a total amount of 151.1 thousand UAH, 77 thousand UAH were allotted in Dnipropetrovsk region, 37.6 thousand UAH – in Sumy region and 11.7 thousand UAH in Lviv region.
