According to the results of the monitoring conducted by the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in cooperation with the State Emergency Service 22637 residents of Crimea were registered in mainland Ukraine, 167 of them acquired status of internally displaced people.
Geography of the most densely inhabited areas of temporary settlement in mainland Ukraine is as follows: Lviv, Odessa, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv regions and the city of Kyiv.
In August, 2016 73 families or 41 and 61 able-bodied men and women correspondingly, 43 children and 22 elderly people left the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and registered in mainland Ukraine. The vast majority of residents settled in Mykolaiv (53 people), Lviv (16 people) and Kherson (9 people) regions.
According to the information of the Regional State Administrations of Ukraine the authorities received from the residents 69329 appeals, including 2773 in August, 2016, of which 2598 migration issues, 107 medical service and provision of housing, 42 about employment, 25 concerning social assistance, and one concerning education.
Most migration issues received from the residents of Crimea in August of the current year were considered by regional offices of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in Kherson region:
– 762 issuance or exchange of the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad;
– 343 photo pasting in into the passport of the citizen of Ukraine upon reaching the age of 25 and 45 years old;
– 127 issuance or exchange of the passport of the citizen of Ukraine;
– 8 issuance of the document in the form of the ID card
– 1130 others.
At the citizens’ request, the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea considered and positively resolved 3433 issues, out of them 1639 in 2016, of which 209 in August.
