The meeting of the Authorized Representative of the President of Ukraine in the affairs of the Crimean Tatar people, the People’s Deputy Mustafa Dzhemiliev with the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Borys Babin and his First Deputy Izet Hdanov was held at the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the 22nd day of August, 2017.
During the meeting, there were discussed such issues as corruption prevention in the provision of administrative services and the need to create offices for servicing residents of Crimea and internally displaced persons on the principle of “Single window” near the administrative boundary at the points “Kalanchak”, “Chonhar” and in the city of Kherson.
In addition, there was raised a complex of issues and motions addressed to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in regard to the situation at the territories bordering the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as the introduction of amendments to the Governmental Decree No. 1035 “On Restrictions on Supply of Certain Goods (Works, Services) from Temporarily Occupied Territories to Another Territory of Ukraine and / or from other Territory of Ukraine to the Temporarily Occupied Territory”.
Special attention was paid to the issue of informing the public about the violation of the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
According to the results of the meeting, the Representative Office established an interaction with the Office of the Authorized Representative of the President of Ukraine in the affairs of the Crimean Tatar people.
