On 7 May a round table discussion on theme: “Northern Black Sea Coast and Crimea in the Russian imperial discourse: colonization, annexation, symbolic “privatization”, instrumentalisation of the imperial images of the past before and after annexation of 2014” was organized in Crimean House by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance.

Among the interlocutors were the head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance Volodymyr Vyatrovych, the head of Mejlis of Crimean Tartar People, People’s Deputy Refat Chubarov,  Mufti of Spiritual Council of Muslims “Umma” Said Ismagilov, scientists, experts and officials of the Mission’s Kyiv office.

The interlocutors reviewed  political, social and cultural aspects of the aggressive Russian activity regarding Crimea and its Indigenous People throughout different historical periods as well as they discussed  the response measures and combating against the conquest imperial policy of Kremlin in modern conditions.

The round table discussion was broadcasted by the Crimean Tartar Channel ATR and other mass media.
