On 28 June 2019 according to the “Crimean Solidarity”, the de facto ‘Crimean Arbitration Court’ in the temporarily occupied Crimea ordered the dissolution of the lease agreement and handing the Cathedral of Vladimir and Olga in Simferopol over to the so-called Crimean ministry of property and land relations.
Such “decision” of so-called “court” endangers the further activity of the Crimean Eparchy of the UOC.
The illegal actions of the occupying authorities in Crimea against the Orthodox Church of Ukraine including the “decision of the court” are considered to be the restrictions on freedom of religion as one of fundamental components of human rights.
